What shines and what doesn’t

The spacious twin room combined with a lovely breakfast made my family's stay quite enjoyable! The kids' tea was exceptional, and the peaceful surroundings added to our relaxation.

Unfortunately, there were issues with slow dinner service, and staff were less responsive during busy meal times, affecting our overall dining experience.

Perfect for couples wanting a unique experience

The staff,, they were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We got to enjoy some live music on the terrace while sipping drinks,, it was relaxing and just perfect.

It wasn’t cheap,, but I guess you could say it was still acceptable.

The restaurant needs significant updates to its menu!!! It's a shame about the limited TV channel selection and the noise disturbances affecting quality time in the rooms!!!

the staff were super friendly and really helpful, made us feel like home. the grounds are nice for a walk and i loved that they have unique animals outside, like alpacas! the family room was comfy and had all we needed. we didn't try breakfast this time but heard it's really good. also, it’s a short drive to dublin, which is a plus!

the gym and pool are not on site and you have to drive to them.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. I loved the little touches, like having complimentary tea and coffee facilities. The hot breakfast served to the table was a standout. it felt more personal than the usual buffet style. We received a complimentary bottle of wine after a mix-up with an order, which was a nice gesture. we encountered issues during our dinner when two of my vegetarian friends were mistakenly served beef lasagne, a serious error. The meal delays during check-in were frustrating, and the communication about our reservations was inconsistent. Despite these hiccups, the staff handled the situation with professionalism.

The hotel offered a lovely atmosphere with its welcoming staff and beautiful décor. Enjoyed a spacious family room, perfect for relaxation. there were times when the service at dinner felt a bit slow, which impacted our overall experience. Still, the breakfast was a delightful treat.

This place suits me perfectly, providing free wi-fi, a bar area, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped me print important documents. I recommend trying the breakfast. it's plentiful and delicious. I'm coming back soon!

It was just a good pick for a walk in the evening in Athy with very good value for money. The staff were particularly friendly, even going out of their way to offer warm water to help defrost our car in the cold morning. Consider enjoying breakfast early for a quieter dining experience.

We loved our stay here! The spa's sauna and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after a busy day, and the touch of chocolates for my sister's birthday made it feel special. The only hiccup was a bit of noise from the water system, but it didn’t bother us much. Definitely plan to come back! 🎉
